As part of a partnership between Clarke County Public Schools & Blandy Experimental Farm, this project provides a Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience for all 4th graders within the
division during the 2015-2016 school year.
See the links to the left for details about our Chesapeake Bay Watershed Project!
Goals and Concepts:
- Provide outdoor-based, locally relevant, experiential
learning for our students with a specific focus on the 4.5 and 4.9 Science
Standards of Learning.
- How we use
the land around our schools and homes impacts the Chesapeake Bay, and
- Our watershed pollinators are important
for our native plants and agricultural crops and they need good habitats to
survive.
