Blandy's Community Garden was established in spring 2008
as a way for local families and groups to grow vegetables for their own use and for donation.

                  The Garden
The fenced garden includes 25 plots, 75 feet of raised beds, and an arbor.
A faucet and hoses for watering, a storage shed for tools and supplies, and compost bins are all on site. There is no charge for these garden plots.

Gardeners work any time from dawn to dusk when convenient, and assistance and advice are available from Blandy staff, volunteers, and other gardeners.

Helping Hands
In exchange for garden space, gardeners agree to donate a portion of what they grow to area food banks, free community meals, and families in need.

Each season hundreds of pounds of fresh produce are donated from our garden!

The garden manager works with participants in the garden and sends out periodic updates by email.
