Blandy’s first century was built by people who believed in its future; now it’s our turn to shape the next one. With Phase 1 of the Centennial Endowment Campaign complete, Phase 2 will raise $250,000 to safeguard the Arboretum’s next 100 years.
In 2026-2027, Blandy Experimental Farm and the State Arboretum of Virginia mark 100 years of discovery, conservation, and community connection.
As we celebrate this milestone, the Foundation of the State Arboretum will raise $250,000 in unrestricted support to help safeguard the future of Blandy. Unrestricted endowment funds from the Centennial Campaign will:
- Maintain and enhance the arboretum’s living collections
- Support environmental research and student learning
- Expand community programs and public engagement
- Ensure Blandy remains a thriving place of discovery and connection for the next century
The centennial is both a celebration of Blandy’s extraordinary past and an invitation to shape its future. With your support, Blandy Experimental Farm will remain a place where science, conservation, and community flourish together for generations to come.
